Saved again by Gaston Hearing Center. Discovered this morning that the speaker wire was severed on one my hearing aids. In a bit of a panic I called for advice on how to get repaired, fully expecting a lengthy process of running around or shipping somewhere for repairs. Instead I was given an appointment for an hour later with Dr. Lindsay. She was able to repair, tune up and turn up my hearing aids within 15 minutes and send me on my way. In my 2 years doing business with them they have always been incredibly responsive, quick with scheduling appointments, very reasonable with pricing and are some of the most pleasant folks around to deal with. Highly recommend.

I have had hearing aids for the past 10 years. I wasn't happy with any of the three pair and wouldn't wear them often. After searching on line and emailing some people I was directed to Dr. Tom Bocchino at Gaston Hearing Center in Belmont NC. Dr. Bocchino is great, very personable and understanding. He truly loves his job. I bought the Phonak Sphere Infinio I90 hearing aids. I am so excited they work with my Android phone. I can hear speech, hear TV and most important talk to my husband and actually hear him. I go to restaurant and church and these hearing aids actually let you hear the people around. Thank you Dr Bocchino for making my life and marriage so much better. My husband actually didn't mumble like I thought.

I have worn hearing aids (ordered online) for the past 7 years. I knew they were not working properly, but I had no clue what type of hearing aids were best for my type of hearing loss. After searching online and making phone calls, my husband found Gaston Hearing Center. I had my first visit in January, 2026 with Dr. Bocchino. Dr. Bocchino is great! He is very personable and understanding. He truly loves what he does. He answered all of my questions, and he fitted me for new Phonak Audeo Sphere Infinio I90 hearing aids. And Dr. Bocchino fitted me for custom molds, so now I can hear even better! I am so excited to have new hearing aids. I can hear speech so much more clearly, watch TV, and hear other sounds that I have not heard in years. My husband and I can even have conversations when we are on multiple levels of our home. And I attend a large church (with a lot of background noise), and I can hear like never before. If you have hearing loss and/or need hearing aids, please go to see Dr. Bocchino. He is awesome! Your life will truly be changed.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tom and Gaston Hearing Center. My husband has struggled with hearing loss for many years, and it has impacted his daily conversations with friends, family and co-workers. Tom and the staff at Gaston Hearing Center treated him with such kindness and respect, making him feel completely at ease. What truly stood out was how clearly and patiently Tom explained his hearing test results. For the first time, my husband understood what was happening and why hearing aids could make such a difference. There was no pressure, just genuine encouragement and support. Thanks to Tom, my husband decided to try hearing aids, and this has been life-changing! We can enjoy conversations without frustration, he feels more connected during family gatherings, and even simple things like watching TV together are easier and more enjoyable.
